Snoop Dogg Teases Unreleased Michael Jackson Collaboration

Snoop Dogg expressed interest in tracking down an unreleased song he recorded with the late Michael Jackson. The D-O-Double-G recalled how the collaboration came to be in a chat with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM.

“I gotta find out [what happened to it],” Snoop said. “It’s a record that was done for some sort of—you know, he did records for the world. It was like some peaceful, a whole lot of artists on it record. He called me one night and it was crazy because the way his voice came through the phone, he was like, ‘Snoop, it’s Mike. I have this song I want you to get on.’ I’m like, ‘Man, anything you want, Mike. It ain’t no problem. Talk to me.’ Then after we got past the song, he was like, ‘My mom always said that you look like someone in my family. I think we’re related.’”

Snoop said he never received any updates about the song as it remained unreleased. But the legendary rapper suggested it wouldn’t be too difficult for him to find the track and possibly share it with fans.

“I think I can find out who got it though,” he told Cohen. “I think I can track it down and figure out who has it.”

Earlier in the conversation, Snoop recounted a funny story in which he annoyed Jackson at an event in Las Vegas. The current Death Row Records owner and Jackson’s dressing rooms were next door to each other, causing a small issue. Snoop blew weed smoke into Jackson’s room, which didn’t sit well with the King of Pop.

“He’s right there looking at me,” Snoop told Cohen. “He said, ‘Snoop, don’t do that.’”

Snoop appeared on SiriusXM to promote his new movie The Underdoggs, which dropped on Friday (January 26). The film is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
