The Council of the Local Government of Kirikasamma in the state of Jigawa confirmed the death of a person and injuries to seven others following the collapse of a building in the area.

The council information official, Musa Muhammad, revealed it in a statement issued to Dutse on Sunday.

According to him, the accident occurred in the village of Kabak in the area of ​​the local government of Kirikasamma during a heavy lounge on midnight on Friday.

“I collected that seven people suffered serious injuries while a person died. Five of the victims were hospitalized, while the remaining two were treated and discharged,” said Muhammad.

He added that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Maji, had visited the scene of the accident to commission the victims.

The president also approved N500,000 to cover the medical expenses of the injured and N100,000 as an emergency support for the family in mourning.
