10 Unfortunately, three injuries in Ogun Car Accidents

At least 10 people were killed while three other people suffered various levels of injury in accidents along the freeway of Ijebu-Ode-Ibadan obstacles on Friday night.

The accident occurred when a vehicle that delivered passengers fell from the Omu bridge located on the freeway.

Spokesman for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (Trace), Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident to journalists on Sunday in Abeokuta.

He said the Mitsubishi bus with EJ829-LSR number plate was involved in the accident.

Akinbiyi said: “According to an eyewitness account, overtaking the wrong when at high speed caused the driver’s failure to maintain control after paying attention to the driving vehicle.

“The bus driver turns to the bush and crashes into a stone base (gravel) that has been left on the road next to the bridge, which makes the vehicle diving to the river completely.

“15 people were involved, three were injured and 10 (three women and seven men) were killed. Two people, including a toddler and an adult, fled from Unhurt.

. “The corpse of the dead and injured victims had been taken to the morgue of the Ijebu-Ede General Hospital.”
