At least 11 people were killed in a clash when armed groups attacked civilians and security forces in Damascus, Syria, on Tuesday.
The Syrian official news agency Sana reported on Wednesday that armed groups had fired on civil vehicles and public security on the road, while other attackers attacked an inspection post in the city of Sahnaya, south of the capital.
Residents told reporters that the engine rifles and rocket -launching grenades had caused damage to home and cars, and made many residents afraid of their safety.
They added that the security forces had advanced to the center of Sahnaya in the middle of a heavy shot to reach the environment dominated by Druze in the city.
The clash in Sahnaya came one day after violence erupted in the city of Jaramana, also near Damascus, triggered by the audio recorder of someone who insulted the Muslim Prophet Mohammed.
At least 17 died in the clash of Jaramana, according to the Syrian Observatory based in the UK for human rights.
