A 13-year-old Fulani girl was allegedly kidnapped to death by local miners in Tipper Garage area of ​​Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT. Ciroma said the private parts of the dead body were stained with blood and that it was taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed that she was raped. “The incident was reported to the police and, God be praised, some miners suspected of being behind the crime have been arrested,” he said. It was gathered that the incident almost escalated into a crisis when herders mobilized in the area in an attempt to attack the miners, but the quick intervention of security agents calmed the situation. FCT Police Command spokeswoman SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident, said seven suspects had been arrested.
