2 Nigerian athletes crash from the world athletics championships on day 1

Two Nigerian athletes Chioma Onyekwere-Lyons and Obiageri Pamela Amaechi crashed out of the world athletics championships in Tokyo, Japan, the first day.

Obiageri Pamela Amaechi was the first to offer Tokyo hello as his best shot of 55.69 m, which was his first attempt he kept her in the sixteenth position, which was not good enough to make the final cut.

His shot was almost 12 meters from the leader, Sandra Elkasević with a shot of 66.72 m.

Dutch women Alida Van daalen chose the last ticket for the final with a shot of 62.65 m.

The next member of the Nigeria team to get out of the Tokyo World Championships was the holder of the National Chioma Onyekwere-Loyons record in the first obstacle.
