2024 Olympic Basketball Bracket: USA Beats France to Win Men’s Gold Medal

 

Steph Curry made eight three-pointers, including three late in the fourth quarter, to lead the USA men’s basketball team to a gold medal victory over France.

Curry scored 24 points to lead the Americans to a 98-87 victory and their fifth consecutive gold medal at the Summer Olympics.

LeBron James scored 14 points, while Kevin Durant and Devin Booker each had 15 in the win, but it was Curry who put on the show as the game came to a close.

France held on thanks to 26 points from Victor Wembanyama, but were unable to contain Curry and the Team USA attack, which made 18 of 36 three-pointers.
