Nigeria will play Benin Republic in Uyo on September 7 and then face Rwanda in Kigali on September 10.
Eguavoen said: βOur objective is clear: to get six points in both games. The players know this and are committed to achieving it.β
βThe matches will not be easy, no qualifying match can be taken for granted because all the teams want to play in the final. However, we have spoken with the players and we are all in agreement.β
βAfter the match against Benin on Saturday, no one is talking about revenge. Our objective is three points and then we hope to pick up another three points in Kigali on Tuesday, which will put us in a good position for qualification.β
Some key players have returned after missing previous matches due to injuries. William Ekong, the team captain, returns after a strong tournament at the African Cup of Nations.
Victor Osimhen, who completed his season-long loan to Galatasaray from Napoli, has also joined the team at the Uyo camp.
Eguavoen is likely to select Stanley Nwabali as goalkeeper, with Aina, Semi Ajayi, Ekong and Bassey in defence.
In midfield, options include Frank Onyeka, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Alhassan Yusuf and Raphael Onyedika.
Forwards Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface and Ademola Lookman will compete for places in attack.
