2025 UTME: The owners of the CBT centers make overwhelming allegations against Jamb

The Nigeria Association (CPAN) of computer test centers (CPAN) ATTE The complaint by the Joint Admission and Marication Council (JAM) that the UTME 2025 has succeeded.

CPAN president, Mr. Maxwell Akwuruoha, made him known at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Nan reports.

The corps chief said that many ham workers deployed on examination days were either incompetent or converse to make professional faults.

He said examination 2025 was tainted by biometric failures and jam navigator, most of the candidates have denied the opportunity to write the test.

Akwuruoha said more than 2,000 candidates could not write the UTME 2025 due to biometric failures and the browser.

He said: “Biometric and navigator failure, the incompetence of technical staff, inadequacies in CBT centers and excesses in sales of novels, programs and brochures are some of the technical challenges that characterized the exercise of UTME 2025.

“Biometric inscription as a secure means of recording for UTME and Direct entry The candidates began in 2011, with the introduction of electronic tests actively in 2013 and absolutely in 2015.

“The introduction of technology as an electronic tests has saved enormous costs, initially intended for the printing of questions, program, brochure and logistics for delivery.

“But Jamb applied a fire brigade approach during accreditation, in particular with ad hoc workers who have not been trained.

“It doesn’t kill anyone to apologize that the biometric system has really failed. We had candidates who were prevented from writing the test due to biometric failures of the ham.

“The system failed because some of the technicians sent to certain centers by jam were incompetent. It is noble that Jamb apologizes to these children who have been prevented from writing the exam.

“What we say is that the biometric solutions deployed by Jamb during the examination were not perfect,” he said.

Akwuruoha added that such technical challenges should not occur when driving the 2025 exam.

He called a jamb to emit his members a sufficient memorandum of understanding and time for visits and accreditation.

The president of the CPAN also said that the association was ready to join the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to register candidates for UTME 2025.

The information chief of Jamb, Fabian Benjamin, while reacting to allegations, described them as a “cheap blackmail”.

Benjamin said the board of directors had made a biometric verification for around two million candidates.

“Let me assume, without conceding, that 2,000 candidates could not be verified, what is the percentage of 2,000 in two million?

“Each candidate who has registered properly has been verified. So, for any candidate who has not been verified, it is not following a biometric failure.

“Some of them have registered in centers that have not been approved and some of them have made several registrations and were therefore blocked.

“If you accused us of professional fault, we will tell you that we have set up centers involved.
