The National Women’s Team of Nigeria U20, the Falconets, have resumed the camp in Abuja as the preparations intensify for their crucial FIFA World Cup FIFA U20 World Cup against Rwanda.
The newly appointed chief coach, Moses Aduku, has invited 35 camping players before the second round accessories, which will make the Falconets face the Rwanda U20 team in a two -legged match scheduled for September.
The first game will take place in Kigali on Sunday, September 21, while the return section is invoiced by the Lekan Salami stadium in Ibadan on Saturday, September 27.
Among the guest players there are four goalkeepers, 11 defenders, nine midfielders and 11 strikers. The training sessions are expected to begin on Monday, August 11, after the resumption of the players to the camp on Sunday, August 10.
The Coach Aduku has opted for a strong combination of experience and a new talent, reminding the key players of the team that participated in the FIFA Women’s World Cup U20 2024 in Colombia. The retired players include the captain and defender of the Ohaegbulem team, the worker midfielder Joy Igbokwe and the acute eaves Mary Lucky MKPA and the Osigwe goodness.
In the 2024 edition of the tournament, which expanded to include 24 teams for the first time, the Falconets had an impressive race in the group, surpassing Korea Republic 1-0, losing closely against Germany 1-3, and throbbing Venezuela 4-0.
