2027: Apart from Tinubu’s support, APC encourages people who are interested in buying the President’s form

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday told party members who wanted to compete for presidential tickets in 2027 to move forward despite the ratification of the Tinubu Bola President for the second term of office.

National Secretary of the Party, Sulaiman Argungu, stated this during an interactive session with journalists at the National Secretariat of the Party in Abuja.

APC National Work Committee (NWC), State Governor, National Assembly, and other stakeholders earlier this year supported the President for other term of office in 2027.

In the forum, Argungu said Tinubu’s support at all levels of APC leadership was acknowledging its performance in the last two years.

He, however, emphasized that APC would not stop others who were interested in the President of the President in 2026.

Argungun said: “We certainly will not close our door to other presidential candidates. When the time comes, our schedule will be known.

“Anyone who wants to aspire to the presidency under the APC will not be rejected the opportunity to buy flower expressions and nominations to train their franchises.

“We never said we have locked the door. We only told people that we appreciate what the President did to the people in the country and that he deserves the second term when we unanimously supported him recently.”
