It had remained a strong basis for the former Democratic Party of people in power (PDP) and all progressive Grand Alliance (Apga).
In recent times, since the advent of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, efforts are made to solidly position APC as the most important party with which to deal with the south -eastern region.
This turning point of the land is attributed to the efforts of the executive governor of the state of imo, his excellence, senator Hope Uzodinma with,
A vibrant democrat that has distinguished itself in the management of the political party, in the basic mobilization and in the infrastructure development.
The senator hopes that the human managerial ability of Uzodinma and the qualities of good government have gained him the trust of the governors of the APC in the country and elected him as president of the Progress Governors Forum, a platform that has allowed him to download his qualities of dynamic leadership that have had a positive impact on the progress of the party in Power APC.
As President of the Progressive Governors Forum, Hope Uzodinma has been able to re -enter the vision of APC as a truly national party for all Nigerians. Through his proactivity he inspired the trust and optimism between the followers of the party and with the same attributes, he was also able to influence opposition politicians to support the offer of re -election of President Tinubus.
His spirituality and political foresight have allowed the governor of the State IMO to take measures to avoid the internal crisis within the party. This achieved by supporting the NWC to convene the meeting of the National Party Executive Committee which allowed to ratify the position of the National President of the Party to be domiciled in the north -western geopolitical area.
As President of the Progressive Governors Forum, he synchronized himself with the National Party Executive Committee to approve a vote of trust on the leadership of the National Work Committee (NWC) led by his national president, Abdulahi Umar Ganduje, a gesture that has thrown the trial for sustainable peace and unity in the structure of the leadership of the National Party.
In order to strengthen the peace process in the party throughout the country, hope that Uzodimma has triggered the speech for the creation of a national reconciliation committee by the national work committee to face all the problems and appease all the party members of the party in each state. A bold and commendable move that began to bring peace and stability within the party to the center and in the areas in preparation for the future elections.
The resulting result of that peace move in Hope Uzodinma’s Agechy APC has made other members of political parties of the opposition that are currently shaken by crisis to defect at the APC as an alternative attractive political party that has made efforts to put his home in view of the 2027 elections.
In his trajectory of progress, Hope Uzodinma in the company of other EPC governors in the country supported and attended the APC national summit held on May 22, 2025, at the Banquet’s presidential hall, Aso Villa. An extraordinary opportunity that witnessed the IMO state born to the politician moved a motion for the adoption of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the only candidate for APC in the presidential elections of 2027.
The motion was detached by the Governor of the State of Kaduna, UBA healthy and unanimously approved by the members of the National Executive Committee of the Party, Governors of Progressives, main officials of the National Assembly, party leaders and interested parties present at the top.
Strategically, this move by Hope Uzodinma has put any future competition at rest on those who become the party candidate of the party and has also further positioned the party to receive deserters and plan in advance for an inevitable victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC.
I hope that the political intelligence and the dexterity of Uzodinma are a resource that is not quantifiable for the sentence of all the progressives of the congress, APC and on the contrary, a nightmare to the opposition parties, causing them sleepy nights, given its dynamic political nature.
Politicians and political parties in the South region -est must be tired of his ability, political ingenuity and his ability to handle his political opponents who puts him in front of his rivals.
Feers in the area has shown the majority of leaders and politicians who decompose to APC and committing their support to the re -election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The trend of defection according to political analysts is attributed to the tireless mobilization efforts of Hope Uzodinma who have strongly promised that APC will recover the south –st for the president Tinubu.
Giving the peculiar nature of the south -east area, reaching the goal of APC will not arrive without its challenges.
Ironically, the means and the extension in which the hope Uzodinma will face these challenges will depend on the cooperation it receives on the presidency, the national leadership of the party and the parties concerned relevant in the south -eastern region.
His excellence, the governor of the Imo state, is a result that has demonstrated an ideal model of democratic governance by exemplifying himself in the supply of services through the provision of dividends of democracy for the people of the IMO State.
His administration is scattered with registers of projects, social assistance, security and successful services successfully for people.
His sensational result is attested by the series of prizes granted by various reliable organizations.
In recognition of his Screes project in Imo State, the Governor’s newspaper has given his excellence, the governor hopes for Uzodimma, with, GSSR, with the Vanguard Good Governance Award as governor of the infrastructure of the year 2025.

He raised the level of the supply of qualitative health services in the state of imo and was honored for his exemplary leadership and the impact in health insurance and management care.
Responsibility and transparency were its guiding principles in the prizes of projects, management and funding for which it was also honored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) for its exceptional performance in promoting tax transparency in governance.
The senator of his excellence hopes that Uzodinma is an unconventional politician, with his feet on the ground, focused and a strategic result.
A manufacturer of nations that has spent his life to enhance and build men. It is known for its simplistic humorous nature and always combining people together.
Undoubtedly, his excellence hopes that Uzodinma is a bridges manufacturer who has everything he needs to unite the people of the south east together to support the re -election of the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
The Nigerians are waiting to see Hope Uzodinma’s magic role and chopsticks. The leaders of the South -East should therefore gather around his excellence Sen hopes that Ozodinma to reposition the south -est for a better political feature.
