2027: Atiku, Obi, El Rufai, others Storm Abuja for the opening of the ADC coalition

A number of politicians from several opposition parties including former President of Vice Atiku Abubakar and former Governor of the State Anambra, Peter Obi, on Wednesday invaded the center of Shehu Musa Yar’adua in Abuja for the Media Conference on the opposition coalition that appeared.

Other main political figures seen in the venue include the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai; a former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi; Senator Dino Melaye; a former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung; PDP Publisher and Chief, Dele Momodu; Senator Gabriel Suswam and Ireti Kingibe from the Labor Party; and former Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha.

Also present was the former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (Retd.).

The coalition, which cuts all the people’s Democratic parties, labor parties, social Democratic parties and other political interests, met under the platform of the African Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 general election.

The previous opening was scheduled to be detained at a hotel in Asokoro in the early days of Wednesday but was suddenly canceled when hotel management announced that they could no longer provide facilities for the event after full payment was made and confirmed.
