26 year old Nigerian Stabbb £ Dad £ ATH in London

A 26-year-old Nigerian man, Ayowale Aledejana, was tragically stabbed to death in the south-east of London, confirmed the metropolitan police.

According to the authorities, the agents were called in a residence on Monson Road in the new cross area around 19:26 on Saturday 2 August 2025, following a stab.

The emergency services, including the paramedics and the aerial ambulance of London, quickly responded to the scene. However, despite their efforts, Aledejana, who lived in South Norwood, Croydon, was declared dead on the scene.

In response to the accident, a forensic tender was erected outside the house in Terrazze and the flowers were put in homage. The location is in particular in front of the former Duke of Albany Pub, a site in the 2004 British comedy Shaun of the Dead.

The victim’s family is currently supported by specialized officers while investigations continue. The metropolitan police have not yet made any arrest and the motif behind the stabbing remains unclear.

The authorities are exhorting anyone who has information to come forward to help with the current investigations.
