An ATR-72 plane with 62 passengers crashed in the city of Vinhedo in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday.
The plane, operated by Voepass Linhas Aéreas, was heading to Guarulhos in São Paulo from Cascavel, in Paraná state when it crashed.
Video of the incident on social media showed the plane plummeting to the ground before disappearing into a cluster of trees in dense forest.

A large plume of black smoke billowed into the air seconds after the crash.
It is not yet known whether there were any survivors in the accident.
