The police dissolved the young men who protested economic difficulties, others in Abuja, the river

Police operations on Monday disbanded young people who protested current economic difficulties and other problems in the country with tear gas in Abuja and Port Harcourt.

The protesters, who gathered in the Maitama area in Abuja at 8:00 in the morning, ran fast after the operators pump up tear gas to the air.

In Taman Isaac Boro in Port Harcourt, operators expelled the protesters and attacked some of them, including journalists who covered the event.

The protest began in Abuja and Lagos on Monday with members of the take-back movement and other civil society organizations led by Sahara Journalist Publisher Omoyle Sowore, to spearhead the demonstration.

The protesters also challenged the alleged abuse of cyber crimes, and the declaration of emergency rules in the state of Rivers by the President of Bola Tinubu.

In Abuja, the dancing protesters were in music and carrying placards with various inscriptions such as “Let’s breathe,” and stop oppression, “among others.

At Ikeja under the bridge in Lagos, the protesters gathered there at the beginning of 7:00 in the morning, to express their displeasure with the incident in the country.

TIB, in a statement issued on Friday by its national coordinator, Juwon Sanyaolu, said the protest would continue to stop the country further sliding to the anarchy.
