The United Nations have renamed the commitment in the construction of the dealer in the Nigerian young people

The United Nations reiterated its commitment to support young Nigerians to imbtly imbtly diplomacy to guarantee a better future.

The commitment was made Tuesday by the United Nations resident and humanitarian coordinator, Mohamed Fall, in Abuja at the inaugural conference of the ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL MODEL (Paimun) Conference organized by the United Nations Information Center (Unic) in Nigeria.

The conference, which focuses on the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations Foundation, tries to promote peace, tolerance, diplomacy and the construction of consent among young people.

Autumn said that while delivering a welcome address to the Maiden Premiere Academy International Model Una (Paimun) that Nigeria undoubtedly has a commitment for the United Nations and its numerous objectives.

He said: “Nigeria joined the United Nations shortly after obtaining independence and since then has a key player, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations is from Nigeria.

“It is essential that we bring united nations by the formal space such as interaction with the government, involve young people and civil society and because more than ever objectives and ideals of the United Nations are necessary.

“Let’s not forget that the United Nations were established to prevent conflict, promote safety, human dignity and development, as well as providing assistance to the most vulnerable and not leave anyone behind you.

“It is time for us to double, strengthen them and spread this message. What I saw young people do in this sense is part of it, because the future is theirs,

“Making them form and know how the United Nations works, learning diplomacy, learning the touching way to solve and the peaceful way to solve the difference is something that is really critical in today’s world.”

He promised to improve the inaugural edition of the Oltre Abuja conference and a specific school in order to welcome the 36 States and all the areas of the local government of the country.

He observed that the United Nations Charter started with people and people are not only the government but also those who are difficult to achieve and more vulnerable.

Fall said: “They are all, those who are women, those who live with disabilities and I think that the notion of inclusion of United Nations has found expression in this principle of us people.

“Young people to understand that the future is they. The form of today and tomorrow must be made by them. It is their call.

“In the same way, the generation of those who came out of the Second World War have created United Nations for the construction of peace and security. It is their moment and their call to face today’s challenge.

“The challenge today is conflict, insecurity, climatic shock, poverty and inequality, they must take it and this is my appeal to all young people”, recommended Fall.

The principal of Premier Academy, Christopher Akinsowon, for his part, praised the conference to help students better understand the functioning of the United Nations General Assembly.

He said: “What we are doing here is a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly. This section teaches not only to students, we adults, the diplomacy process.

“In such that we can resolve all issues in a very diplomatic way, against combat, war and aggression.

“If all states and local governments in Nigeria have adopted diplomacy, there will be not so much war or crisis here and there; we will talk about it instead of the war.
