At least 22 people were killed in protest against the increase in the price of drastic fuel in Angola.
The Minister of Home Affairs of the country, Manuel Homem, confirmed the construction of journalists on Wednesday in Luanda.
He said almost 200 people were injured in protests.
The police spoke of the clash between demonstrators and security forces in several locations and said there were looting and damage to the car.
Since Monday, angolans in the capital, Luanda, and other parts of the country have protested a higher price, which was raised by the government around 30 percent in early July.
The government confirmed the increase in prices with the need to reduce national debt.

Until now, fuel has been highly subsidized in a country rich in oil.
The state police spokesman, Mateus de Lemos, said more than 1,200 demonstrators had been detained in the last three days.
Although a country with a population of 37 million residents in Southwest Africa is one of the most important oil producers on this continent, the price of new fuel is high compared to the average income of angolans.
One liter of diesel now costs 400 kwanza ($ 0.54), while about half of all angolars live less than $ 3.61 a day, according to World Bank statistics.
