The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Oyo on Wednesday inaugurated its campaign for the selection of the Federal Federal North North August 16.

The Chairperson of the APC in the state, Alhaji Olayide Abbas, inaugurated the campaign council at the Party Secretariat in Oke-Oad, Ibadan.

He accused the members to ensure a big victory for party candidates in the election.

Abbas expressed sadness over Hon’s death. Pililiu Akinremi, a former member of the House of Representatives from the electoral district.

He described him as a friend of the masses who gave hope beyond expectations before his graduation last year.

The chairman considering that only representatives from the Alliance for Democracy (AD), the Nigerian Action Congress (ACN), and APC have made a proud constituent since 1999, a warning not to control controls to the people he described as Hawks and fraudsters.

Abas praised all candidates from the electoral area for their contribution to democracy and APC, and called for unity among stakeholders to ensure collective success in the election.

He announced members of the House of Representatives for Egeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, Akin Alabi, as Director General of the Campaign Council, with a mandate to mobilize support for party candidates, Hon. Adewale Haastrup Olatunji (Murphy).

He said the council consisted of supporters of leading parties, experienced politicians, and dynamic administrators.
