PDP oath to sanction members who support APC for 2027

The National Work Committee (NWC) from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday vowed to sanction their members to support all Progressive Congress (APC) for re -election in 2027.

NWC, in a statement issued in Abuja by the Secretary of the National Publicity, Debo Oologunagba, warned those who were involved to browse back their steps or face harder sanctions as stipulated in the PDP Constitution.

Oologunagba said the NWC noted with fears of anti-party activities from certain members of the party, especially those who supported the Tinubu Bola President for a re-election in 2027.

A spokesman regretted that such actions and words, including the Public Declaration to work for APC in the 2027 presidential election, violated the party’s constitution.

He warned that such behavior is a serious threat to party stability and fortune.

“Considering the above and examples of protecting and preserving the existence of our party and the wealth of its election;

“NWC, based on the provisions of section 59 (1) the PDP constitution, hereby issued a strong reprimand against the anti-party activities and warned those who were involved to trace their steps or face harder sanctions as specified in the PDP constitution.”
