The Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has killed more than 20 militant rebels from Sunni Al-Adl rebel groups in the Southwest Province of Sistan and Balochistan in the southwestern of the country.

The Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported on Wednesday that 13 people were killed in Zahedan, the provincial capital, and eight in Iranhahr during the joint operation by IRGC and local police.

Some others were reportedly arrested, and a large number of weapons and ammunition were confiscated in the operation.
