Standards Organization of Nigeria (Son) praised Cement Plc Dangote for its significant role in raising the manufacturing sector of the country and urged other producers to emulate the company’s dedication to the best practices and operational excellence.
The organization followed successfully by the concrete damage, the Obajana plant in the state of Kogi, of the certification audit of Integrated Management System (IMS), conducted by the expert auditors of the son.

The coordinator of the ISO system for Dangote Group, Sani Mikail, explained that the establishment of the ISO management system in the Cement Plc Dangote, in all its plants was approved by the President and CEO of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, under the guidance of the Vice -President Group (Oil & Gas), Devakuma Edwin.
He explained that the implementation and sustenance of the ISO management system in the Dangote Group have recorded successes over time with a precious additional opportunity between the processes and the system in the concrete concrete systems since 2010.
The director of the Obajana plant, Azad Nawabuddin, a strong supporter of the system, said that IMS has brought immense benefits to the company, in particular in facilitating the continuous improvement of its processes.
In his comment, the company’s representative, Komminen Suppo, praised the result, observing that Dangote Cement Obajana has fixed the rhythm in the sector noting “DCP Obajana is one of the first concrete factories in Nigeria to achieve the IMS certification”, said Suib.
