The Chairman of the Lagos State Branch of the National Road Transportation Workers (Nurtw), Mustapha Adekunle, known as Sego, has threatened voters in the state of violence and the possibility of death if they failed to vote for all Proprictifts Congress (APC) in the 2027 election.
In a video that has been trendy since Thursday, Sego was heard openly declaring war on anyone who failed to choose APC in 2027.
The controversial Sego swore that he and his leg soldiers would greatly punish every Lagos population who dared him and continued to oppose APC, insisting that he had the full support of the government.
He also boasted that what happened in the 2023 presidential election when APC lost Lagos, would never be allowed to repeat it.
The union leader was also heard reprimanding Nurtw members in the area of the Ajeromy/Ifelodun local government in the state to work with politicians who were not APC members, who stated that the full support of trade unions was for APC and other parties in the state was fake.
” APC is our party in the state of Lagos. Another party is fake. Do you like it or not, “he said in Yoruba.
“We are not ashamed to say it. What happened on your axis in Ajegunle that you all pretended that there was nothing to happen, if the repetition itself, you will all be suspended.
“One of your transportation workers who act bad, suspend and have proof. No one dares to return such workers. Even in the area he lives, we will torture them and make them feel hell,
“We are not joking with APC at Lagos State. No one must think that what happened in 2023 will be repeated in 2027. Anyone who makes mistakes silly and wrong behavior in 2027 will be handled.
