CONVENTION: Tinubu’s former aide Baba-Ahmed emerges as PRP national chairman

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed was on Saturday elected as National Chairman of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).

Baba-Ahmed, former Special Adviser on Political Affairs to President Bola Tinubu appeared during the party’s National Convention.

Kanu Sunny emerged as National Secretary, when his opponent, Abdulhakeem Abdullahi Ago, resigned before voting began, paving the way for Sunny’s victory.

Contenders for all other party positions emerged unopposed and consequently gained support.
