The People’s Liberation Party (LPP) said on Wednesday it has launched its digital member registration portal as part of efforts to launch full political operations, following a Court of Appeal ruling affirming its status as a registered political party in Nigeria.
In a press release signed by its National Organizing Secretary, Dr. Auwal Bashir, the party announced the inauguration of its online membership platform, lppnigeria.site, and urged Nigerians to register and become members.
According to the statement, the launch marks a significant milestone in the party’s preparations to expand its membership base and position itself as a credible alternative in Nigeria’s political landscape.
The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, in a unanimous judgment delivered on 2 June 2026, held that the People’s Liberation Party shall be deemed to be duly registered as a political party with effect from 22 December 2025.
“The People’s Liberation Party today unveiled its digital member registration portal, lppnigeria.site, inviting Nigerians to embrace the party and join its fold,” the statement read.
He added that the introduction of the online registration platform marks the beginning of the party’s full operation for future political activities and electoral commitments.
The LPP said it was committed to providing Nigerians with credible political alternatives and strengthening democratic participation through inclusive membership and issue-based politics.
The party encouraged citizens across the country to take advantage of the digital platform to register as members and contribute to its vision of national development.
