CCB directed workers at AGoF offices to submit new asset declaration forms

The Code of Conduct Bureau has asked workers under the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGoF) to publish statements of their assets and liabilities, even as the Bureau asked for an updated nominal list of personnel across the OAGF.

This development is contained in an internal circular issued by the Director of Administration, Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, AT Mohammed, MCIPM, FInstTA, dated 28 August 2026.

The circular, referring to TRO.131/T, was addressed to the Director at OAGF Treasury House and Federal Treasury Academy, Orozo; Head of Unit; and Zonal Coordinator/Head of Federal Payments Office.

The directive follows up on the Code of Ethics Bureau’s request in a separate circular dated August 26, 2026, which requested an updated nominal staff list from the OAGF to facilitate the implementation of asset and liability declarations.

In the circular, Mohammed stated, “I am directed to inform you that the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), vide Circular: CCB/HQ/A&LAD/OAGF/108/G/III/348 dated 26 August 2026, has requested the submission of an updated Staff Nominal List to facilitate the implementation of the Declaration of Assets and Liabilities.”

Following CCB’s request, the OAGF directed all affected offices to collect their personnel records and submit the returns to the office of the Director of Administration.

The submission deadline is Tuesday, September 2, 2026, meaning affected offices are given only a short time to compile and submit the requested information.

The circular directs that returns should be submitted in hard and electronic formats. It states, “Hard copy to the office of the undersigned; and (b) Soft copy (in Excel format) via email to: [email protected].”

The OAGF further disclosed that a template has been provided for the exercise and directed the affected officials to use it when preparing for their return.

The circular states, “The required filing template is as attached. All returns must be forwarded to the office of the Director (Administration) on or before Tuesday, September 2, 2026.”

Emphasizing the importance of this directive, the OAGF administration added, “Please, treat this as a matter of urgency and ensure strict compliance.” The request places the nominal list of OAGF personnel at the center of the CCB’s asset and liability declaration implementation plan.
