ABS Ilorin FC Director of Football, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, has congratulated Moses Simon on reaching 100 caps for the Nigerian Super Eagles, describing the striker as one of the most dedicated and disciplined players in the team.
The Paris FC striker reached that milestone on Friday when he came on as a substitute in Nigeria’s 2-1 victory over Madagascar in their opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
The achievement places Simon in an exclusive group of Nigerian players who have made 100 senior international appearances, joining Joseph Yobo, Vincent Enyeama, Ahmed Musa and Alex Iwobi.
Chukwuemeka praised Simon’s commitment to the national team and his positive influence on the team’s younger players.
“Moses Simon is one of the most dedicated and disciplined players of the Nigerian Super Eagles, and I congratulate him on his 100th appearance for the national team,” Chukwuemeka said.
“In addition to giving his best in every game, he encourages the younger players.”
Simon, who made his Super Eagles debut in 2015, has enjoyed a decade-long international career, participating in the 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2025 African Cup of Nations tournaments winning silver and bronze medals.
