  1. It's a free society. Let them say what they want.
If people are against it because it's assisted weight loss, then don't even go to the hospital for treatment.
*ps: i think she said her doctor recommended this route.
*ps: she worked out to reduce naturally, but she was unable to

  2. You ladies are so beautiful! I love the more natural looking hairstyle texture. Yes this topic will always be controversial. But when it comes to health and well-being there are times when surgery is necessary – heart, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, diabetes, deteriorating joints, plus mental and emotional disturbances and more play a big role …It's easy for those without the issue of obesity to say just diet, there are a lot of factors involved. The most important of all is to do research on the procedures, the surgeons
And, don't rely on the opinions of non professionals. Use your own judgment along with research. Dee, NY USA

  11. Here in America health insurance will cover your cost for surgery as long as it would improve your health. I can relate to her health challenges, because after I had my daughter in 2016, I put on so much weight because I was home for 7 months with bad eating habits, no exercise and sleepless night because of breastfeeding. I developed severe knees, back, and much more pain. I even bought disability insurance coverage thinking that I was going to be crippled. Thank God as I gradually loss the weight my health has improved significantly. But my condition never got to the level of surgery, even though my A1c is still slightly above normal, which is pre-diabetic. I have coworkers who done weight loss surgery, it's not a big deal. Nigerians need to stop shaming people for everything by looking at the positive side of things.
