  1. Do you believe Mama June Boo boo Sketti Pasta deserves to be so famous?

  2. There is a pasta called ''Napolitan Spaghetti'' based on ketchup and butter, which was created by a Japanese chef for American officers during GHQ occupation and is still very popular in Japan today.

  3. Damn, I’m not Italian but this offended me too

  4. I think the reason why her pasta takes 20 minutes is because it’s the packaged pasta not made from scratch πŸ˜‚ honestly, I’ve never made pasta from scratch in my life, it takes 10-15 minutes for me to boil it. Honestly, I want to learn how the Italians do it. I’d try a bite of it but I’m sticking to actual spaghetti, this stuff she’s making is so unhealthy

  5. Vinzenzo, please – tell me it is only a bad dream. It's only a nightmare…

  6. You're right, but we can't save the world. I started teaching my kids how to cook and how to enjoy and respect food from early on. Neither of them would ever put ketchup and butter on their pasta. They know how to start with the soffritto and make a really good tomato sauce. Ketchup sauce is for people who hate to cook! And who hate Italian food! And who hate their kids!

  7. This is spaghetti, if every pasta you have ever eaten came out of a can !! Butter in the sauce is an Olive Garden recipe !

  8. vincenzo I'II like your food Beter, then this devils🀒 food

  9. Watching that made my stomach turn. She is very beautiful though.

  10. "Why are we still here? Just to suffer?"

  11. Her reaction is hella fake

  12. Yes make it! Then second half of the video, do a "Make it better" video, or do a Tut on tomatoes and olive oil to bring your touch to it.

  13. I will not even try this

  14. Put on your big boy pants, Vincenzo. You're going to live.

  15. Sketti And Butter.. like south park . haha

  16. I’m pretty sure mamma June’s recipe is made with margarine. Country crock.

  17. You're right Vincenzo, pasta can't be done this way. Total solidarity with you.

  18. She's right about Marcella Hazan, though. She has a recipe for Tomato Sauce with Butter and Onion. A can of good San Marzano tomatoes, cut an onion in half with several tbs of butter and simmer for 40 minutes or so then remove the onion. Very good. I've seen it in a restaurant used to sauce (not fried) gnocchi. Delicious.

  19. This crappy dish was already invented by every child that came hungry from the scool at home and found some leftover noodles and Ketchup in the kitchen.

  20. brings stupidity to another level!!!!

  21. Plus this pasta has no texture looks boring, some crunch like some meat, creaminess (not cream) from cheese, or something, nothing monotonous overcooked cheap pasta with ketchupand extra fat from butter

  22. We know that momma June eat spaghetti in a can and this crap by the way she looks

  23. If I was Italian I would probably made spaghetti out of her and cook her for 20 minutes

  24. Americans should be forbidden to post cooking videos on YouTube. They butcher everything shamelessly.

  25. Mate, you are not being fair with this lady and I'll tell you why! First off PASTA comes from Arab countries long before Italy discovered it. This alone does not give you the right to judge anyone using pasta in their dishes to their discretion and more so, not giving it an Italian name. Since this "SKETTI" is not an Italian dish, good or disgusting, it's not for you to comment on it and to approve or disapprove of it. Next; not anyone can afford your gourmet ingredients, did you know that? Also, not anyone consumes Italian cheese for the very simple reason that they might NOT LIKE IT. Please stop pushing crap on people just because they don't cook like your granny. I do eat Italian and I do cook Italian, but Pecorino will never be on any of my dishes for the simple reason that I HATE IT. One more thing; The pasta packed and described as Spaghetti all over the world, good or bad, cheap or expensive can be used at the discretion of anyone who buys it. The moment you buy something, it's yours and you can do whatever you want with it, including splashing it with Ketchup and butter, which IS indeed disgusting.
Remember; the woman cooked SKETTI, whatever that is and not any Italian variation of pasta.

  26. I'm happy to say I grew up in the Southern US (Texan and proud), and wasn't very fortunate financially growing up… but NEVER have I ever heard of ketchup in spaghetti πŸ˜‚ I've even recoiled at the thought of the people who put sugar in it… I prefer my international foods to be authentic. When I eat Italian food, I want it to taste like Italian food. When I eat Mexican food, I want it to taste like Mexican food. When I eat Asian food, I want it to taste like Asian food (hence why I stay away from Panda Express and keep some MSG handy… sure to make a certain YouTube Asian Uncle happy πŸ˜‚). Because, being Texan, I would expect the same of people who aren't from Texas to want when making BBQ, smoked meats, chicken fried steak, sweet iced tea, etc. Make it authentic. As my last First Sergeant said when I was still in the Army, "Don't shit in my hand and tell me it's a Tootsie Roll!" πŸ˜‚

  27. When emmy says "it's absolutely delicious"… You look are too stunt to speak

  28. In all honesty, I tried sketti after discovering it on chowhound (the guilty pleasure eats) thread a few year back.
Sketti is probably for people who didn't grew up with quality pasta and are ketchup fanatics like me :')
I appreciate good pasta (love your spaghetti al limone!) but sometimes when I want something quick and don't have the ingredients, sketti is just so easy to put together to fill your tummy.
(I definitely did not make sketti to eat out of nostalgia while watching this video πŸ‘€)

  29. My mom use to use that method of throwing the spaguetti to a wall, but she wasn't Italian, and we just had pasta once in a month, so I wouldn't trust her to teach me how to cook pasta, honestly.

  30. Kids LOVE spaghetti with ketchup here where I live. (No butter, though.) I can't stand it myself. I've never liked ketchup and I never will. But the kids love it. Plain spaghetti doused with ketchup…

  31. Ketchup in the US is slightly tomato flavored high fructose corn syrup.
