The Danish club Aarhus Fremad, a majority property by Nigerian technology Shola Akinlade, has assured the title of the Danish Second Division after finishing the top of the table with 60 points, one ahead of the closest rivals Middelfart. A 1-1 draw against Ameger Fremad on the last day of the season confirmed its championship and promotion status.
The result crowned a star campaign for Aarhus Fremad in the Nordicbet League, which earned them a place in the Betinia League, the Second Level League of Denmark, just below the prestigious Super League.

Akinlala, who also has Sporting Lagos FC in Nigeria, acquired a 55 percent participation in Aarhus Fremad in 2023.
His investment marked a significant milestone in Nigerian participation in the international football business, combining technology, sports and global vision.
The success of Aarhus Fremad is especially sweet given the disappointment of last season when the promotion was lost by little. The club had finished second in the regular campaign, but failed to reach the playoffs, finishing only three points before the two best teams, if Kolding and B93, which operated with full -time professionals.
His campaign ended in heartbreak with a 2-1 house defeat against FC Roskilde on the last day of the game, leaving the players and devastated fans.
This season, however, the team responded with resistance and determination. They sealed the promotion on May 31 with a goalless draw against Middelfart and obtained the title two weeks later with 60 points of 26 games, a consistent quality and focus exhibition.
The rise of Aarhus Fremad under the administration of Shola Akinlade is considered a model of international collaboration and strategic football investment. The double property of Akinlade de Fremad and Sporting Lagos symbolizes a growing connection between Nigerian base football and European development systems.
The promotion of the club opens doors for greater opportunities, both competitively and commercially, and indicates a brilliant future under Nigerian influence on Danish football.
Fremad will now prepare for life in Betinia Liga, where the toughest competition hopes, but also does the opportunity to climb more towards the football level of Denmark
