Abia Govt refused the rumors of the conspiracy, said Otti was not in the conversation to dispose of LP for APC

The Government of Abia State firmly rejected the claim that showed that Governor Alex Otti was considering the defense of all the progressive congress (APC).

Describe the report as “wrong, baseless, and baseless,” the government urged the public to ignore speculation.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Ferdinand Ebeoma, a special advisor to the Governor of the Media and Publicity, clarified that the Governor of OTTI has not held a political discussion on party changes. Ebeoma explained that this new OTTI -new meeting with the Governor of the State of Imo Hope Uzodimma, which triggered rumors, purely social.

“After the National Economic Council meeting on Thursday, April 24, the Governor of Otti, together with several of his colleagues, attended a private event – the anniversary of the twin daughter of Governor Uzodimma.

He linked the political speculation that developed with the increasing popularity of Otti and strong performance in the office, noting that such attention was not surprising. However, he stressed that any political decision by the Governor – especially those who have significant implications for Abian – will always be made transparently and with the approval of the people.

“The political journey of the Governor of Otti is guided by the will and the best interests of the people of Abia,” said Ekeoma. “Every big decision will not be considered easy or separate.”

Overcoming a broader political climate, EXEOMA noted that while political activities before 2027 began to emerge, the Governor of OTTI remained committed to the responsibilities of governance.

“He believes it will harm the people who entrust it with their mandate if politics wants to shade the government at the early stages of this government,” he said.

Reaffirming Otti’s loyalty to his current party, Ekeoma concluded, “Governor of OTTI remains a member of the Labor Party who is proud and not in talks to join the APC or other political parties.”
