ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY (ABSU) ANNOUNCES 42ND MATRIX CEREMONY FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, Uturu, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, on behalf of the Senate, invites parents, guardians and the public to the 42nd Matriculation Ceremony of the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

• Date: Friday, August 9, 2024
• Location: University Pavilion
• Time: 11:00 a.m.

Those who need to register:

• Postgraduate students, who are not graduates of Abia State University;
• All first-year undergraduate students in the regular program and the Institute of
• Continuing Education (ICE), who have paid their tuition fees;
• Other students duly admitted and admitted to studies who, for good reasons, were unable to register in their year of admission.

The rental cost of matriculation badges (gown and cap) and brochure is Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) only. Registered students are to pay at the designated banks – ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu; EcoBank Plc; Fidelity Bank Plc; Union Bank Plc; Zenith Bank Plc; UBA PIc and payment by bank debit card.

Payment must be made no later than Tuesday, August 6, 2024, as issuance of registration documents will begin on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Please note that the Matriculation Ceremony is mandatory for all new students of the University and only bona fide students, who have accepted their offer of admission, paid their fees and registered for their courses, if applicable, will be eligible to attend the ceremony.
