Former Registrant of the Revenue and Matriculation Council (Jamb), Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, and independent corruption practices and other related violation commissions (ICPC) have agreed to resolve the N5.2 billion fraud case outside the court.
Ojerinde’s lawyer, Eteya Ogana, told Judge Obiora Egwuatu shortly after this problem was called at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday.
Ogana said that even though this problem was postponed for defense to open their case on Wednesday, he said there was a development.
He said: “There is a development; interventions explored by parties to see whether the problem can be resolved administratively.”
“Considering the above, we will ask for a long date after a vacation to allow us to report the same thing.
“That is our simple application.”
ICPC advisor, Iheduru lesion, also strengthened Oganana’s comments.

“The position stated by the student advisor for the defense is completely true,” he said.
He said the conversation was ongoing about reconciliation steps.
“Therefore, we do not oppose the delay,” added the legal advisor.
Judge Egwuatu as a result of postponing this problem until October 20 for reports/resolution or defense.
Ojerinde in February 2022, chose to bargain -a defense with the commission before the completion of the collapse.
He was charged in July 2021 by the ICPC for the accusation of 18 fraud calculations for violations committed when he led the National Examination Council (NECO) and Jamb.
He, however, claimed to be innocent for the accusation.
Judge Egwuatu on June 10 refused to submit without a case submitted by Ojerinde and ordered him to enter his defense.
