ACF Charges Tinubu to prioritize good governance rather than the 2027 re -election offer

The Arwa Consultative Forum (ACF) on Sunday demanded that the President of the Tinubu soccer to prioritize good governance during the 2027 re-election offer.

ACF in a statement issued on Sunday at Kaduna by the Secretary of the National Publicity, Prof. Tukur Mohammed-Baba also urged the stakeholders in the decision of all the progressive congress (APC), to stop staging the initial campaign for the president’s re-election and enable it to focus on dealing with the singing of challenges that overshadow the country.

This group expressed concern over the increasing sense of insecurity, high cost of living, crisis in the energy, health and education sectors, the weak nigerian currency and high food prices among other challenges.

It also knocked APC to prioritize the initial campaign to re-election tinubu instead of biting the shoots of several challenges faced by the state.

The statement reads:

“As ACF observed a year ago, existential challenges are a fundamental symptom of malaise in the political economy, calling for urgent public policy attention.

“In disappointing, it seems that it will be a case that the ruling party in the Center is more obsessed with the initial campaign that has never happened before, the defense of it and other maneuvers for re -election in 2027, in the midst of the celebration allegedly the success of medium -term policies.

“These experiences may not be new. But it is disturbing that public policy responses to them remain ineffective, even as a waste and expenditure by public officials are different from the sacrifice by citizens.”

This group further condemned apathetic in the government’s response to the unsafe situation, especially in the northern part of the country, saying that it remains ineffective, even as a waste and expenditure by public officials is different from the sacrifice by citizens.

“The most distorted illustration of a waste of careless public expenditure is revelation about insertion, in the federal budget 2025, for the provision of street lights at a surprising and unimaginable cost of more than the N260 million nirara.

“That at present there is no official rejection of a careless insertion and surrealist who proves the irregularities of public officials and political representatives of the fate of ordinary Nigerians, whose living conditions continue to worsen all rounds.

“Going with precedents, such a budget insertion is replicated in various ways at the state level.

“Delusians’ claims and claims of heads-Pasir continue to characterize announcements by officials accused of having the responsibility for security different from the cry of the Governor of the State at the location at the location. Obsession and claims like that only ignore or give blind eyes to the possibility of mass disappointment, despair, dissatisfaction, despair, and population failure.

“That the Nigerians continue to survive and can even celebrate opportunities such as Eid al -Fitr are proof of their amazing resilience, which should not be accepted just like that,” added the statement.
