Actor Ugbezu Ugezu to Men: Stop paying for women’s school fees, ‘This is a fraud’

Actors and filmmakers of Nollywood Veterans Ugezu J. Ugezu have caused online controversy after reminding men not to pay for women’s education, describing the practice as a form of “fraud.”

In a post that was distributed on his official Instagram page on Friday, Ugezu argued that the man who financed the school fees often ended up being disappointed when the relationship failed to cause marriage.

According to him, it is not wise for men to assume such responsibilities outside of marriage.

He also issued a warning about feelings of rights that often accompanied financial support in partnerships, especially those involving women.

“That you pay a girl’s school fee and help financially in shaping her life does not mean you have to marry her. There are things that must be done by a man and go to the universe. If he finally said so … walk away.” The actor wrote on his Instagram page.
