Actress Lide Bakare responded after a reaction to the ‘alcohol’ comment

Nollywood actress Lide Bakare has clarified her new comments after facing a reaction to a viral video where she seems to admit to introducing her teenage daughter to alcohol.

After revealing that he was the person who initially exposed his daughter Similoluwa to alcohol and clubbing when he was seventeen years old, Lide Bakare had now issued a public apology.

Remember that in a new interview, the talented actress admitted that she personally introduced her daughter to the club and even her first alcoholic drink.

“Actually, I am the first person to take him to a club. That is the experience of his first club. And I like the fact that, in his memory, his first alcoholic drinks and clubbing were through me,” said Lide.

In a video posted online on Saturday night, Lide expressed regret for his words in responding to the criticism he received. He claimed it was a verbal mistake because he only took him out and never exposed it with alcohol.

” I don’t know I said it. The video was sent to me where I said it but it was the tongue. Like that never happened. I did not introduce it to alcohol at all. I will never do that. Little girl (Similoluwa) feels bad too. He did not like to be installed there as a teenage girl abusing alcohol at a young age.

“Please forgive me for her mistakes,” added the actress in the video posted on her Instagram page.
