Nigerian actress and media personality Omotunde Adebowale David, known as Lolo 1, have regretted the performance of strength by security operators in the protesters in Abuja.
Lolo 1 condemned the use of tear gas cylinders to dissolve demonstrators in Abuja during the take-back movement and demonstrations of other civil society organizations.
He argues that people have the right to gather peacefully, because it is their right in the constitution to do so, especially when there is no form of violence during protests.

Lolo 1 said, “Citizens have the right to gather peacefully; That is their right to the constitution. But when they are now gathering and there is no form of violence, unlike they carry weapons or anything, there is no form of violence or agitation. ”
He also stated further that he was not sure that the protesters did anything to make security operators think that they would cause legal disorders and order.
” Even if they sing, it’s just words. Unlike their words turned into bullets, but for you to fire tear gas in the middle of a peaceful protesters, I just want to know whether there is something they do to make them think the protesters will cause legal disorders and order. If nothing happens, does it show that strength is not too aggressive? ” Asked Lolo 1.
