Ahmed fears for D’Tigers Olympics qualifying chances after 93-87 defeat to Senegal

Former coach of Nigeria men’s basketball national team Sanni Ahmed has stated that Nigeria may have relinquished it qualification chances to Senegal after Monday’s 93-87 points loss to it West African rival at the ongoing FIBA Africa Pre-Olympic Qualifying tournament in Lagos.

Ahmed speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Nigerian team has suddenly found themselves in a situation where they will have to win their games and hope Senegal drop games too in a competition where only one ticket is available to qualify for the main Olympics Qualifying tournament.
