The Social Democratic Party (SDP) at Ondo State has greatly criticized the government of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the actions of the ongoing industry by the State Judicial Workers, who have paralyzed court activities for the past week. SDP, in a statement provided by its chairman, Mr. GBENGA AKINBULI, on Sunday, expressed his deep disappointment with the inability of the state government to respect the MoU in the Judicial Financial Autonomy. He concluded his request to Union: “I appeal to Jusun to consider the suffering of ordinary people and the perpetrators of the cases who suffer as a result of strikes. I urge them to return to work and explore alternative solutions to resolve their differences with the state government.
However, in a reaction to the ongoing SDP comments and strikes, the Head of the Press Secretary for Governor Aiyedatiwa, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan, expressed optimism for rapid resolution. “The Governor is aware of Jusun’s demands and these demands are currently being handled. These problems will be resolved soon,” Adeniyan convinced.
