AIYEDATIWA inaugurated 16 new commissioners, promising stable and responsible governance in Ondo

The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Monday inaugurated 16 commissioners who were appointed to the State Executive Council, reiterated the commitment of his government that was unwavering to accountability, transparency, and stable development throughout the state.

Speaking at the feeder ceremony held in Akure, the Capital of the State, Governor of Aiyedatiwa described the event as “an important milestone in the journey to build a larger Ondo country,” emphasizing that his government will remain focused on consistency, long -term goals, and sustainable growth rather than rapid improvement.

“People ondo states do not expect anything other than the best of us, after entrusting us with an extraordinary mandate, and we must try to fulfill all our election promises,” said the Governor.

He urged the commissioners to run the land, note that the expectations of high performance and only the provision of excellent service that could be received.

“This concept highlights the values of persistence, patience, and great progress in achieving goals. In the first 100 days of our government, we have been able to prove that slow and steady winning the race,” he added.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also warned his family and colleagues from the newly appointed commissioners not to put non -pressure for personal or sectional benefits, urged people who were appointed to remain focused on their duties to the people.

“Our administration is committed to very good integrity, transparency, accountability and services,” he stressed. “We ordered the new designated person to fully lock these values to develop a more male and prosperous Ondo country.”

He further noted that his government had continued several projects inherited when launching a new one, and that a sustainable proactive involvement with credible investors had produced positive economic results.

In his speech, the Secretary of the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, praised the appointment as a strategic step towards an inclusive and oriented governance. He praised the governor’s view and described the new commissioners as individuals chosen based on achievement, competence, and loyalty to the administrative development agenda.

“This is a call for services that have an impact,” said Fasoranti, urged the person appointed to justify the trust that was caused in it.

Speaking in the name of a newly sworn commissioner, the Omoyofunmi was grateful to Governor Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve and convince the public about their collective commitment to serve the country with service and integrity.
