AKWA IBOM governor buys 30,000 party tickets for fans to see Super Eagles vs Zimbabwe

The Governor of the state of Akwa Ibom, Umo Eno, has bought 30,000 tickets for football fans and followers before the 2026 Super Eagles World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

The movement is to mobilize the support for the Super Eagles in the crucial encounter of Group C.

The three -time African champions will receive the Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday (today).

The Super Eagles have played all their games at home previous in the qualifiers on the ground.

Eric Chelle team will seek to register its second victory in the qualifiers after last Friday’s victory over the Rwanda Amavubi in Kigali.

The clash with the Warriors Zimbabwe will begin at 5pm.
