Allegations of Falsification: Improvement of Courts June 23 for the charges of the Director of FCTA, others

Judge Suleiman Belgore from the Federal Capital High Court (FCT), Garki, on Wednesday set June 23 on the indictment of the Director of Investigation and Prosecution in the Federal Capital Administration (FCTA), Joseph Eriki, and 10 other allegations of counterfeiting.

The judge set a date after the legal counsel for the defendants, CS Ekeocha and EE Apeh, promised to produce their clients for the charges.

Judge Belgore, on May 27, gave a warrant to force their appearance on the charges in the accusations submitted by the Federal Government.

He issued a warrant after the application by the legal counsel, David Kasuwe.

Kasuwe has told the court that all efforts to ensure that the suspects were present in court because their indictment failed.

In this case hearing, the defendants were not in court, but their lawyers told the judge that they had not been served with the accusation.

Therefore, he prayed for the postponement to allow him to take them to court.

The federal government has submitted accusations of six criminal conspiracy counts, criminal violations, counterfeiting, and others against the defendants.

Others accused with the Director of FCTA were Boniface AGWU, Ikechukwu Kanu, Donatec Electrical Company Limited, Super Structure Limited, Weatherfield Engineering, Marine Service Limited, Asher Information Services Limited, Prince Isaac Omoluwa, Nwaimoneyeye Augustine Onyisi, and Sarajo Alyu, Ogbole Michael.

The prosecution accused that the defendant entered the plot illegally 461-470 and 486-496 owned by Etha Ventures and established a structure to deceive the company.
