The Osun (Amotekun Corps) state security network agency claims to have arrested six suspicions for alleged breaks and thefts.

A statement by the State spokesman, Yusuf Idowu, on Sunday said that three of the suspicions were involved in the theft of iron steel worth more than N4.5 million by a steel company in Ede.

“The suspicions were arrested by Amotekun agents for having conspired to steal large quantities of iron steel from their workplace, a steel production company located in Ede.

“The investigations showed that the trio, which are dependent or strictly affiliated with the company, stole the iron materials over time and selling them to an merchant of scrap in Sabo, Ede, at prices between N3.000 and N7.000, a fraction of the total market value.

“On the question, one of them confessed that this was not their first involvement in these criminal activities.

“She admitted that she had led the thefts for a long time before their recent attempt was foiled during a Surveillance of Amotekun,” he said.

Idowu also said that a suspicion of Ila-Orangun was also arrested for raiding in a residential building and stealing domestic objects, including a TV, a generator and an iron steel.

He said the suspicion during the interrogation said he stole the objects to support himself.

Idowu said that another suspicion of Osogbo was also taken in custody after being connected to the theft of Iron Steel to Eleweran, Ile-Ife and the theft of a cell phone in Toll Gate, Ile-Ife.

“He was arrested after a complaint was filed with Amotekun, who then tracked him down in his position by hiding,” he said

He said that a 32 -year -old suspicion of Osogbo was also captured while removing aluminum manufacturers from a newly built building inside the premises of the secretariat of the local government of Ede.

Idowu said the suspicion forced windows and accessories forced before being identified by a resident who promptly warned security agents.

Adekunle Oomoyel, commander of the body of Osun Amotekun, praised his officers for their rapid responses to cases and urged the public to continue to be vigilant and denounce any suspect activity to the relevant authorities.
