An Ibom Air passenger was caught stealing a large amount of money from another passenger’s luggage

A passenger who boarded an Ibom Air flight from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State en route to Abuja, was caught red-handed after allegedly stealing a large sum of money from another passenger’s luggage.

A video shared on social media on Thursday showed the moment the alleged thief was escorted off the plane by a flight attendant after the theft was discovered, while other passengers made fun of him.

A post recounting the incident said:

“This male passenger on Ibom Air bound for Abuja stole some money belonging to a fellow passenger

“It was reported that the passenger had placed her handbag over her head. Upon landing, the passenger, a white male, was about to retrieve his bag only to realize that it had been tampered with and the cash was missing.
