The Nigerians on social media have reacted negatively to a video that shows the poor quality of food presented at the boarding school under the national home eating program (RH-NHGSFP), a school feeding program under the new hope initiative of the Administration of the Tinubu Bola President.
In the video shared by a journalist, Rufai Osian in his X grip on Wednesday where he marked “a school in Nigeria ‘, the chefs are seen issuing what looks like a black watery substance intended to be a soup to several plates scattered on the table while the plates of’ Eba ‘or’ Semovita ‘are also seen as students who are thirsty to wait for them.
However, the commentator took an exception for bad food served to students and expressed their anger in various ways.
While some people believe that school authority can embezzle funds intended to provide quality food for students, others blame the government for deceiving Nigeria people to believe that the free school feeding program will go in the right direction to improve student health and nutrition.

@Newben82:
“What is this? Nigeria has happened to these innocent people at their young age. Will these students recover completely from this psychological trauma?
Someone in a place is responsible for this crime, a leader has cornered the funds intended for future leaders to feed well so that their brains can develop well.
Nigeria is a wild forest. “
@Ipledgetonigeria:
“The point is – whatever happens in Nigeria. There is no accountability & transparency. There is no impact for mistakes as long as you are connected to the right criminal.
As a result, their parents will praise, sing and dance for their oppressors. “
@anasuachara:
“This looks like colored water with Eba. You will pass out when you hear how many billions are used to cook this water water.”
@Mrozoh1:
“Place side by side and see that we live in hell. But people find the strength and courage to maintain this situation.”
@Flourish007:
“Apart from our political differences, we must recognize the collapse of our education system. The government must prioritize urgent reforms, because the current situation is completely unacceptable and the same as torture and harassment.”
@Reginete1:
“Malnutrition. They will grow without the right brain formation. Fighting in school and eventually arguing stupidly like Omojuwa on Twitter.”
@Drealmagnus:
“Is this a school owned by a government or private school?
Looks like a boarding school. The principal must be arrested if it is a private school. So if it is a government, that is what it is.
“It’s sad to see, and I wonder why parents send their children to the boarding school not have good standards?”
@vonasc:
“I think the government has distributed 330 billion naira to all of these children and their parents? The Nigerian population is 200 million but the APC government claims they are sharing 330 billion to 8.1 million people. Or 200 million people should get 1.5 million each.”
@Realmrkay:
“The older generation will tell these children that they are lucky to see this bullshit. Emphasizing that during their time, they were not offered. Revolution was the only thing that would rearrange Nigeria.”
@Indokhem:
“Actually it has been a long time like this, check most of the sole boarding schools, you will never believe what their students eat as food. Ma NYSC opens my eyes for many crimes and crimes that occur due to corruption.”
@Ahiawolf:
“School supervision and inspection is not in Nigeria. All they do is insinuate. Because I tell me how this school is allowed to function. All schools of dormitories in Nigeria need to be paid occasionally visits and students interviewed to ensure their welfare.”
@Olanusakin:
“After that, the federal government will tell us that they have spent the N500 billion for the school eating program. Who deceived who?”
@Marylifted:
“This is hard to believe. How can we get to this level? This school must be investigated and closed. They cannot reduce these children into prisoners.”
