APC boasts southwest will not leave Tinubu in 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Lagos has declared optimism that people in the Southwest will not leave the President of the Tinubu Bola in 2027.

APC Spokesman, Mr. Seye Oladejo, said this was in a statement issued on Saturday at Lagos.

He reacted to the comments credited to supporters of the Democratic Party presidential candidate (PDP), Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, that southwest will not choose Tinubu again in 2027.

Oladejo said that Olawepo-Hashim had never built a long-lasting political structure or showed the election muscles needed to win the national contest.

He stressed that Tinubu would destroy all the alleys against his re-election in 2027.

Oladejo said: “Olawepo-Hashim is a eternal candidate and a convenient mascot for the despair of opposition.

“He (Olawepo-Hashim) can be a support parade in small demonstrations and press statements, but support for photocopy letterhead is not translated into votes.

“If he somehow emerged as a presidential candidate from PDP who fell free-party that seems to go bankrupt in human resources and material-IA will be beaten unanimously on the poll.

“That is not courage; it is a political arithmetic. The empty theater of the PDP and the recycling prosecutor will not save a party that for years has relying on sentiment and nostalgia rather than competence and shipping.”

He said the efforts of Olawepo-Hashim to make caricatures of Tinubu administrative records “were very unpleasant and unacceptable.”

According to him, the Tinubu government laid the visible foundations and could not be changed across infrastructure, education, agriculture, security and fiscal reform.

“Those who are traffic in selective statistics and currency rhetoric do it because they cannot maintain alternatives: returns to waste, arrogance, and mismanagement of the economy that almost extinguish our country.

“Nigeria will not be patted in the current trading of progress for recycling reasons.

“To the political workers behind this noise: stop insulting the intelligence of the people of Lagos and Nigeria,” said the APC spokesman.

He said the opposition should not change the press release into a governance competence.

“In 2027, voters will choose continuity with the president who has given directions and results – not empty shows offered by political tourists.

“Southwest will not leave it alone for the theater ambition project without substance,” he added.
