The Minister of Aerospace and Development of Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, on Monday described the Governor of the Enugu State, Peter Mbah, as one of the best state executive heads in the country.
The Minister, who spoke at the official launch of the airline owned by the state, Enugu Air, said that all Progressive Congress (APC) would limit to defeating Mbah in the 2027 general election because of his achievements in the southeast state.
He stressed that the achievement of the governor since he served on May 29, 2023 had made it more difficult to reflect on his defeat in the next election in the state.
Keyamo said: “I want to reflect what the President said the other day to assign a project. Dr. Peter Mbah, you are in PDP, but we (APC) are afraid of you.

“The way you go, we don’t know what will happen, and we don’t know how to drop a scheme to defeat you. But we will plan.
“Outside the party line, we should not be afraid to say it. You have a progressive spirit, you have done it well for the state of Enugu, and you are one of the best performance governors in this country.”
He, however, called for the right airline management.
