The All Progressives Congress (APC) has moved the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Thursday meeting was initially scheduled to take place at the National Secretariat of the Party in Abuja.
Party leaders are expected to support the substantive national chairman for the party at the meeting.
Former APC National Chair, Abdullahi Ganduje, resigned in June because of health challenges, with Ali Bukar Dalori replacing him in acting capacity.

APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, confirmed changes in places for NEC meetings in a brief statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said: “Changes to the place of the National Secretariat of the Party – 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja, to the Presidential Villa’s banquet room, Abuja, will be a logistical reason.”
