Arewa praises the inclusive governance of Eno in Akwa Ibom – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Special assistant of the Umbre Governor Eno in the community of Arewa, Alhaji Ibrahim Iliya, Tuesday, praised the governor for his inclusive governance, in particular towards the community of Arewa.

Speaking at the central mosque of Uyo, Iliya highlighted the benevolence of the Governor Eno, in particular the annual hosting of the Muslim on Ifer and other humanitarian gestures have extended to them.

He observed that Governor Eno was the first governor in the history of the State to host Muslims in the government chamber for Ifer (breaking fasting), demonstrating his commitment to inclusiveness.

“Since 1999, no governor of Akwa Ibom has invited us to the house of the government for Iftar, except for the human shepherd Eno. He shows that he brings all together, regardless of their tribe, language or religion. He is a man of the people.”

Iliya urged Muslim faithful in the state to maintain peaceful coexistence and avoid any action that could interrupt harmonious relations with the state government and the natives. โ€œEspecially young people, we built a good relationship here. We don’t want anyone to jeopardize it.

“I lived in Akwa Ibom for 35 years, I know the human governor Eno as a man of peace. He wishes peace for this state,” added Iliya.

Previously, the IMAM Bello Dahiru of the Central Mosque praised the Governor Eno for promoting peace in the state. He prayed for the success of Eno over 2027 and for the well -being of Akwa Ibom and Nigeria. He also blessed Ramadan’s month.

Sariki Hassan Sadauki, Sariki Hausa in the state, also offered prayers for a successful Ramadan celebration. He expressed gratitude to the Governor Eno for ensuring a peaceful environment for all residents, both indigenous and non -indigenous.
