Armed men are reported to kill 27 in new highlands attacks

Armed people on Monday were reported by the killer of 27 farmers in the Tahoss community, the area of the Riyom Regional Government in the State of the Highlands.

The attackers also injured several other people, many of them currently receive treatment in various hospitals throughout the state.

The Chairman of Riyom Lga, Bature Shuwa, confirmed the incident to journalists on Tuesday.

He, however, promised to give a detailed explanation of the incident later.

The State Police Command and the Leadership of the Safe Haven operation, the military team was deployed to the state and others in the North-Central have not confirmed the attack.

Plateau State has recorded several attacks from criminals in recent months, with hundreds of people killed and several others evacuated during that period.
